Description
White Poppy and Bees was part of a gallery series here in Tucson, Arizona. The goal was to create artwork that reflected some of the creatures that help pollinate the multitude of desert flowers in the spring. I chose a simple white poppy as the main focal point with three bees doing what they do best, besides make honey, gather pollen and in essence, pollinate the landscape. A simple pallet of color helps illustrate how innocuous these little fellows are. We rarely take notice of them, unless we�re stung, and this painting says, I see you little ones.
