Description

The dove has been used the world over as a symbol of love and peace, especially at Christmas time. This graceful design is fashioned in the style of a stained glass window and captures the graceful and serene nighttime setting with a multitude of stars filling the sky. Added to this is a symbol of hope with the colorful olive branch. Bright blues, purple, green, and orange help decorate this image and make it vibrant with life and tranquility.

Stained glass has always been a powerful inspiration for me. The ancient method of telling a story through bits of carefully placed glass is simply stunning. Although my images are not actual stained glass they are fashioned with a close likeness.
