Artist's Description

Spring Trio was part of a gallery series here in Tucson, Arizona. The goal was to create artwork that reflected some of the creatures that help pollinate the multitude of desert flowers in the spring. I chose a simple saguaro cactus blossom as the main focal point with three bees, and a few tiny bugs, doing what they do best, besides make honey, gather pollen. A soft and simple pallet of color helps illustrate how innocuous these little fellows are. We rarely take notice of them, unless stung, and this painting says, I see you little ones.
