Description
Checking In is another paper sculpture inspired design focusing on a bluebird and her newborns. This delightful diorama features three hatchlings nestled among pine branches to keep out the cold yet ready for some entertainment. Mom is just arriving to make sure all is right with the new family. Pine sprigs and pine cones, berries and snow accent this digitally created, three-dimensional piece. I have been doing paper sculpture for many years and have taken it to another level with the help of the computer. This piece I designed as one of a set of four. They are sized to hang individually or combined for a lively interactive grouping.
